TOPREGAL celebrates topping-out ceremony in Pasewalk
The expansion of TOPREGALS' warehouse and production facility in the Berlin-Stettin Industrial Park in Pasewalk is progressing steadily: just three years after settling in the industrial park and completing the first four halls, the medium-sized company for warehouse and factory equipment celebrated the topping-out ceremony for two new halls on December 3, 2024. Numerous invited guests - including Manuela Schwesig, Minister President of the State of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Wolfgang Blank, designated Minister for Economic Affairs, Infrastructure, Tourism and Labor of the State of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern - attended the ceremony, Parliamentary State Secretary for Western Pomerania and Eastern Mecklenburg Heiko Miraß, Head of Division at the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Infrastructure, Tourism and Labor Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Ralf Sippel, District Administrator of the Vorpommern-Greifswald district Michael Sack and the Mayor of the town of Pasewalk Danny Rodewald - about the Pasewalk business park. After a welcoming address by Jürgen Effner and Gino Klatt, Managing Director of TOPREGAL GmbH, the traditional topping-out speech was given by Jörg Heuer, Head of the Goldbeck office in Schwerin. Manuela Schwesig then gave a speech. "TOPREGAL breathed life into the Berlin-Stettin industrial park with the first four halls. That was in 2021, and now two more halls are being added. This should create at least 20 new jobs. I am very pleased that TOPREGAL has been so well received in Pasewalk. The industrial park is a good example of what the state government wants to achieve with its industrial concept for Mecklenburg-Vorpommern: More industry. More added value. More jobs," said the Minister President. "After completing our first four halls with over 20,000 square meters of space, it quickly became clear that we also wanted to expand our Pasewalk site. These two new halls, each with 5,000 square meters of space, are therefore currently being built on an adjacent site. This will enable us to meet the high demand for our SoloPort brand products and create additional jobs. In the future, new products such as solar parking canopies will be manufactured, stored and shipped here," reports Jürgen Effner.
Halls expected to be ready for occupancy in 2025
As with the first four, TOPREGAL is relying on Goldbeck to build the two new halls. Both halls have modern 550 kWp photovoltaic systems on the roof. Once completed, the six halls will generate a total of 3.4 megawatts peak power. TOPREGAL will use some of the energy generated for its own use, which will flow directly into production. However, the majority will be fed into the grid to supply the region. "Our production and warehouse site in the Berlin-Stettin Industrial Park in Pasewalk now covers a total of 82,000 square meters. The two halls are expected to be ready for occupancy in the second half of 2025," concludes Effner.
