Does the rack have to be fixed in the floor / wall?

Anchoring to the floor is not required, except where the height/depth ratio is greater than 5:1 (the height at which the top shelf is suspended), the German Social Accident Insurance (DGUV) regulation 208-061 applies. The shelving must be secured against tipping.

Wall mounting is possible with the aid of spacers. You need 2 spacers per shelf upright up to a height of two meters. We recommend using 3 spacers from a height of three meters.
